Hybrid Lions regioCAMP Rhein-Mosel 2021

Camp Activities:

The Hybrid Lions regioCAMP Rhein-Mosel 2021 is second hybrid camp in District 111-MS. This camp will offer the participants numerous thrilling activities that will allow the youths to enjoy themselves and build international friendships despite the restrictions caused by the Corona pandemic. Some of the activities will be canoeing, a small Golf-Charity-Event, visiting the Haribo Museum, enjoying handicraft activities, and cooking events and parties. Another highlight of the camp will be visiting regional company and gathering information on regional opportunities for international studies and training programs. In the workshop „Marina Winningen“ the youths will participate in the project „Sustainable Houseboat“ or in building a sustainable couch made with Ecobricks. 

In mixed teams (virtual participants and participants on site) the youths will be offered the opportunity for creative and artistic design activities, exciting social team challenges, games online allowing them to strengthen their relationship as a group via social media, making videos together as well as learning more about the topics IoT and LiveHacking. 
Several national and international sustainable projects will be presented throughout the camp. Both the youths on site as well as the international remote participants will be encouraged to take an active part in all activities for a genuine exchange. 

The continuous participation of the international participants is ensured via the FindMe! APP.

Lions-Jugendcamps:

„Den Geist gegenseitiger Verständigung unter den Völkern der Welt wecken und erhalten.“

Weltweit sind Lions Gastgeber für Jugendliche in internationalen Camps und bei Familienaufenthalten. Das vielfältige Programm bietet jungen Menschen im Alter zwischen 16 und 21 Jahren die Möglichkeit, sich kennen und verstehen zu lernen, kulturelle Vielfalt zu erleben und internationale Kontakte zu knüpfen. Rund 170 Jugendliche aus Deutschland nehmen pro Jahr am Austauschprogramm teil. Umgekehrt besuchen ca. 200 internationale Gäste Deutschland.

Lions Youth Camps:

"To create and foster the spirit of mutual understanding among the peoples of the world."

Around the world, Lions host youth at international camps and family stays. The diverse program offers young people between the ages of 16 and 21 the opportunity to get to know and understand each other, experience cultural diversity and make international contacts. Around 170 young people from Germany take part in the exchange program each year. Conversely, around 200 international guests visit Germany.
