CITY ENERGY. SEA AIR. WILD NATURE.
Ready for three unforgettable weeks in Germany?
With Lions-Adventure, you’ll experience Berlin like a local, discover Germany’s beautiful Baltic coast and escape into peaceful countryside – all together with an international group of young people.
Your adventure starts at the airport or Berlin’s main railway station, where your host family will welcome you. During your first week, you’ll become part of everyday life in Berlin and the surrounding area. A traditional German barbecue with host families and camp participants is the perfect way to get to know each other.
Then the real adventure begins!
FROM BERLIN TO THE BALTIC SEA
Pack your bags – we’re heading north!
Discover Rügen, Germany’s largest island, with its spectacular chalk cliffs, sandy beaches and charming seaside resorts. Enjoy the coast, try outdoor activities, relax by the sea and make memories with your new camp friends.
ESCAPE INTO NATURE
Just outside Berlin lies a completely different world.
Spend two days in the wonderful Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, close to the Polish border, surrounded by lakes, forests, valleys, fields and meadows.
Stay in a charming rural setting, enjoy the peaceful landscape and gather around a campfire in the evening – the perfect place for stories, laughter and international friendship.
EXPERIENCE BERLIN!
Of course, we’ll also dive deep into the German capital.
Explore fascinating Berlin and Potsdam, discover the city’s history and enjoy its international atmosphere.
Highlights include:
• A guided visit to the German Bundestag and its famous glass dome
• A visit to a motorcycle manufacturing plant
• Exploring Berlin’s fascinating history
• Experiencing the lively Prenzlauer Berg district
• Plenty of time to discover the city together
And because Berlin never really sleeps, there will be opportunities to experience the city after dark too.
YOUR LIONS ADVENTURE – YOUR INTERNATIONAL FAMILY
Throughout the journey, you’ll be welcomed and supported by the Lions and Leos, the YCE team, local partners and your host family.
They’ll be there to help you feel at home, guide you through the program and make sure you are well looked after. You’ll have the freedom to explore, while being surrounded by people who are ready to support you.
The real treasure of the trip, however, may be the friendships you make along the way – friends from different countries who can become part of your life long after you return home.
BRING YOUR WORLD WITH YOU!
Before travelling, prepare a short PowerPoint presentation about your home and country.
And bring a little piece of home with you:
• A national flag, if possible
• A simple traditional recipe for our international cooking evening and a Lions activity in Berlin
TRAVEL LIGHT. LIVE BIG.
We’ll be using public transport a lot, so please bring only one suitcase or backpack.
Comfortable walking shoes, a daypack, water bottle, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a light rain jacket will be your best friends.
READY FOR THE ADVENTURE?
Berlin. The Baltic Sea. Nature. New cultures. New friends.
Three weeks. Countless experiences. One Lions adventure you won’t forget.
Come curious. Come open-minded. Come ready to discover Germany – and a little more of the world.
Good to know:
