Lions Camp South-Westfalia and Westerwald

Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz - explore these impressing cities along the river Rhine. Enjoy the variety of rural surroundings and leisure opportunities in the region of South-Westfalia and Westerwald. Experience important centres and well-known heritages.

The Cologne Dome, the Dragon Rock in Linz, the Phantasialand in Brühl, the Museum Mile in Bonn and the German Aerospace Centre in Cologne are some of the highlights waiting for you. Visit the Castel Eltz and the Castle Ehrenbreitstein. Take a boat trip on the river rhine and experience the open minded communities and cities in South-Westfalia and the Westerwald.

Your camp stay will take place at the Freusburg youth hostel - an old Casle converted to a youth hostel which is idyllically located high above the river Sieg. Thick walls, defensive towers, moat, campfire area: Here you can experience the adventure of the Middle Ages up close - but with modern comfort.
